This is a picture taken with two Japanese friends, Shige and Azusa, in Varanasi. We met in a Japanese temple in Sarnath and spent some time together during a few days. The other Japanese guy in the back was just there at that moment.
They just did a trek around Pokara, in Nepal, to the Annapurna base camp. This is Azusa.
Mount Abu is a touristic spot in Rajasthan, near the border with Gujarat.

I laughed at the name of that guest house. In hindi, it means "difficult (yoga) asana" Well my friend Vinod from Bhopal explained me that "asan" indeed means asana, but asaan means easy. The meaning would rather be "difficult made easy".
This is Shiva in the deepest samadhi on top of Mount Kaylash. The snakes represent the tamed passions of the mind.

I heard about this ashram in Desjardins' ashram last October. I went there, but the swami was on a tour in Jammu. Anyway, I enjoyed the ashram's life : 4 sessions of one hour each are daily dedicated to meditation.
There was a bee nest just outside the window of my room. I had never seen them so closely.
