Khajuraho - Jain temples

I went back to Khajuraho to meet Amit and Golu, with whom I went to Chitrakoot in November. I visited a Jain temple I had neglected last time because I was not very curious about Jain religion at that time.


Tirthankars (bridge builders, that means enlightenend beings who build the bridge between common and ultimate reality). Like the buddhas, a new one appears from time to time, beginning a new cycle of teachings. Between two cycles (21000 years), the religion gets lost.
